What you need for the best day at Foreshore:

  • Bring your ticket and photo ID.
  • Use public transport - Infoline: 13 17 10
  • Wear your best party kit!
  • Check the weather report and bring clothes for the conditions, this is a outdoor event and we dance, foreshore style in all weather conditions!
  • Party safe and have a great day!

What not to bring:

There will be bag and metal detector checks at the door as we have a ZERO TOLERANCE to drugs and other illegal activities so don’t bring:

  • Alcohol, drugs, weapons, audio/video recording equipment.
  • A bad attitude – we see you spoiling other people's day we throw you out.

Safety:

You having a good day safely is our number 1 priority. If you feel unwell go to first aid straight away, fast responses save lives. You are not a doctor, we have a dedicated team of medical professionals on site to look after you.

For your safety we have on site:

  • A large team of security guards
  • police
  • first aid staff
  • paramedics
  • fully equipped mobile intensive care ambulances
  • Free water and shade points with free sunscreen available
  • Misting Tent with free sunscreen available

Busses:

Busses will be running from King Edward terrace from 10:00pm these will take you direct to the after parties!! Tickets available at the ticket box office and at the cloakroom.

Passouts:

This event has a strict NO PASSOUTS policy. Once you leave the event you have left for the day.

Fence Jumping:

There will be large numbers of both security and police around the fence line and external areas of the event to deter and catch fence jumpers. We catch you jumping the fence you get prosecuted.

Parking:

There is limited car parking at: the national library, finance building and treasury building.

Eftpos:

There is a ATM located at the both main bars. See venue map.

Food, Alcohol and Cigarettes:

A large variety of food will be available at the event for the entire day, a variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages will be available at the 3 bar points and food outlets. Cigarettes will be available for sale in the bar areas.

Merch:

Official Foreshore 2008 merchandise will be available from the merch tent, there will also be a variety of market stalls so you can get your best festival look on!! (see venue map for details)

Music Volume and Lighting:

Bringing you high quality production is what we do. Sound at this event may reach levels that can damage your hearing. Free earplugs will be available from the First Aid Area.

There will be a variety of strobe lights and smoke machines being used at this event.
